DATO

Privacy

Last updated June 2026.

Dato is in early access. This page covers what we collect on this site and what we do with it. It is short on purpose, and it is honest.

The early access list

If you join the early access list, we store the email you enter so we can tell you when it is your turn. That is the only reason we use it. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to any other mailing. To be removed, reply to any email we send you and we will take you off the list.

Analytics

We use privacy-first analytics to see how many people visit and join. We do not record your screen, and we respect Do Not Track. We do not use this to identify you personally.

Your Dato library

Once you are in, your Claude Code sessions and screenshots go into a private library that is yours. We do not train on it. Nothing runs in the background watching your machine, you save on purpose. You can see what is in your library and delete anything.

Where your data lives

The early access list and your library are stored with our infrastructure providers under our account. We use reputable vendors, and access is limited to what runs the product.

Changes

We will replace this with a fuller policy at launch. If we make a meaningful change before then, we will note it here.
